“Other” storage

I have 68GB of other storage on my phone that I cant get rid of.

The Other storage is composed of files that do not fall into clearer category labels: “applications, backups, audio, movies, and photos”. These files are not harmful to your iPhone but if they accumulate too much space over time, it can slow down computer performance.


You can clear up space by doing some items in the list below:

  • Clearing up browser history by going to Settings > Safari and choose Clear History and Website Data
  • Delete old messages
  • Back-up your files
