Whatsapp crashing since ios14

ever since ios 14 when i want to send a live taken picture to someone on whatsapp my screen goes black and i cant open whatsapp anymore, it keeps going back to a black screen en then homescreen. I have my icloud and whatsapp on but i had to remove the app and lost all of my messages etc. I cant get it back en it happend today for the 3th time. I need help because it is not working.
