If you want to connect it using a cable, you need the Lightning Digital AV Adapter - Lightning to HDMI - Apple

and a regular HDMI cable.

If your smart TV Supports it, you can use Airplay 2 to connect them wirelessly: Use AirPlay to stream video or mirror your device’s screen - Apple Support
