Depending on your TV, you may have more than one option.
If the TV supports Airplay, you can simply use the Airplay Mirroring option directly in Control Center on the iPad to mirror the screen to the TV. click here-> Use AirPlay to stream video or mirror the screen of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
and here-> Apple TV app and Airplay 2 - Compatible Devices - Apple and scroll down to the section titled "AirPlay 2–Enabled TVs and Devices" to see if your TV model its listed there.
Otherwise, you can use a Digital AV adapter and a regular HDMI cable to connect the iPad to an HDMI input on the TV.
