Firefox is a respected browser, but make sure to only download it from the source:
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
Firefox is my backup browser since I need more options than Firefox provides and I don't like how some of the tab features work. My first browser is Vivaldi (based on Chromium unfortunately, but it is multi-platform). Vivaldi has tons of advanced features and customizations that I want and need. Vivaldi is the spiritual successor to the late great classic Opera v12.16 browser (the new Opera is crap and owned by the Chinese).
Thank-you Feed II.
I'm finding that Firefox 81.0.1 has disappeared from the Dock when I reboot or start my MacBook Pro 2020. It is replaced by a Question Mark.
However, while researching this, I noticed that the Question Mark is replaced with the Firefox icon.
I wonder if this indicates that Firefox takes longer to load than the other parts of the operating system. I have Catalina 10.15.7
Thanks HWTech.
Yes, but there is a more current version: 81.0.1 (64-bit). Although I routinely use Safari, Firefox is my second choice and I have had zero problems using/updating it.
