Hi,
Yes. Run Software Update to update to 10.15.7, and the Security Update/s, and the Safari Update/s. Safari 15.4 just came out, so you should be on that.
EDIT: I just looked and a Mid 2010 MBP can only run 10.13.6 as the maximum OS. You either do not have a Mid 2010 or you're not running Catalina. Look in the Apple Menu > About This Mac for that information. If you have a newer Mac than what you posted and you're actually running Catalina, then my original post applies. If not, see if you can use a different browser such as Google Chrome or Brave.

Good info from tjk! :)_
Also...
Might try this, it's Chrome Browser without google & without Ads...
If that's the case, then I'm guessing your Mac has been hacked to allow Catalina to run on it. If so, then it's not surprising Software Update doesn't work. All I can do is go back to my previous suggestion of a different browser.
Hello,
As stated, accorded this Mac, I have a Mid 2010 MacBook Pro, and running Catalina 10.15.4
Not showing any updates for software in preferences.
Ring website telling me I need updated Safari 14.0 for LIVE cameras.
Thx
My computer says late 2011 and the latest update I can get is High Sierra 10.13.6
In other words, I own a dinosaur which is a lot better piece of equipment than the two I've purchased in the past 2 1/2 yrs for two grandsons.
