Exclamation mark on some photos.

Hi I can’t work out how to make the photos with exclamation marks normal again. I know they have been stored in cloud and this is low res version but how to I restore? I’ve tried the google suggestions and it worked on some photos but not all. Please help! I need to print.

You are welcome.

Download All Photos:

Rather than turning off backup, download them all from your iPhone (or which ever device it is). If downloaded, there would be no exclamation mark. Once all has taken place - they should appear without the exclamation mark.

Or...

Archive them:

If not enough space, then archive them. Do so, by exporting them from iCloud to an external device, such as an external hard drive. Go Here: Archive or make copies of the information you store in iCloud - Photos and Videos - Apple Support. They would not appear, though, if archived.

Try this Answer:

Go Here: An exclamation mark appears on every picture and I cannot text or mail - iFixit

  • To Get all of the Exclamation Marks Back: It seems your need to perform the opposite: Delete any backed up (all downloaded from iCloud) photos to your iPhone - they would be seen with no exclamation mark.
  • To Rid of All Exclamation Marks: - Perform as instructed on the site (I'm emphasizing on steps 5 through 7).
