Login and password options can be found in System Preferences > Users & Groups.

Additional options can be found in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General

Under the General tab you will find an option to allow or disable automatic login.

You probably have automatic login enabled. You can read more about it here - https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201476
