Import in Apple Maps a GPX walking route.

We have in the Netherlands a walking sign system. www.wandelnet.nl is the navigation website to make a walking route. It is possible to export the route to a .gpx file. I want to import the .gpx file into Apple Maps. In this way I can use my Apple Watch 4 to navigate during the walk. How can I import the .gpx file into Apple Maps?

Hi Brian_NL,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today with GPX walking route imports and Apple Maps.

While you wouldn't be able to do this with the Maps app, there may be third-party apps on the App Store than can take GPX imports.
