iOS 14.0.1 Ringer Volume Issues

Hi!

Since I did the update iOS 14.0.1 my ringer volume continues to be turned down to silent several times a day & night. I have overslept due to my alarm not sounding. I have picked up my phone and would find several missed calls & text due to the ringer & alerts being turned down. I have also noticed that my text tone keeps being changed to none as well. So even when the ringer & alert volume is up I don’t get alerts for text. I have been going into setting several times a day to manually increase the volume. Then a few hours later, it’ll automatically turn itself down again. Can someone please share a resolution to this issue. Is there a new software update coming soon that can fix this issue?

Set the alarm's volume

Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics. Under Ringers And Alerts, drag the slider left or right to set the volume. As you drag, an alert will play, so you can hear how the volume changes. Turn on Change with Buttons to use the volume buttons on your device to change the alarm volume. If the alarm volume is too low or quiet, learn what to do.

Thank you SravanKra, but the button is already disabled and I’m still having the issue.

I was late for work once again with disabled side buttons as well. This is the 3rd time in 3 months with a soundless alarm. I can't keep being late for work, and missing calls. If the problem persists without a solution I will have no choice to revert back to Android.
