Apple TV 4K issues with LG CX

Just bought a lg CX Oled and when I am using my Apple TV 4K on it I have issues with the screen flickering and some static. I thought it was the HDMI cable so I bought two different kinds both saying they support 4K HDR and still had issues. Called LG and had to play with the settings but now it happens once and a while. It seems to only work on 4K sdr on the Apple TV but why won’t it work in Dolby vision ? ( I can watch Dolby vision content and it will play in Dolby vision but then once I leave the movie to watch something else it will start to flicker a bit again)
