Unable to fill out interactive PDF form on Mac mini 2018

I am having issues with trying to fill out interactive PDF forms on my 2018 Mac mini.

I am able to sign forms without issue on PC's and my MacBook; however, on my 2018 Mac mini it won't let me. Natively on MacOS, when I click on a type field box all it does is the borders of the box is bolded but no text is inputted; the same occurs with buttons (check mark boxes). However when I close the app, it recognized that there are changes as it asks if I want to save my changes to the file.

I also have Parallels installed and when I try to do the same in filling out forms on Windows via Parallels, the same issue occurs.

Help with Adobe online support has not helped. I feel the issue may be with the computer.

Yes I’ve tried other forms and it is the same issue.

Yes, all text enabled. As stated before, I’m able to fill out interactive forms on PCs and my MacBook with the same files.

Ive also gone ahead to reformat my disc and reinstall MacOS but to no avail

Bad bet, it works on his MacBook. Or did you miss that part? OP won’t say much about the file...it’s probably file-related (access rights).

For some reason on the af988, I am unable to type into it but in another copy I'm able to type into it.

I've tried moving the location of the files but to no avail. Also, below is a snapshot on the acrobat reader app. The file with the "PDF" written in the preview allows me to type into the forms.

But 988 is bigger? Anyway, change the permissions across the board to rw on both.

I had no problem downloading and inputting the form. IMO this is an Adobe settings issue.

Check and fix the settings shown in the screenshots below before proceeding. Good luck.
