Hello earlier i installed a free ms word but nothing happened so i quickly deleted the file too, but google chrome acted weird opening random tabs but I was able to fix it in the settings. Now my mac is running good and back to normal can I be assured that there is no virus nor malware, my mac feels good and browsers are working fine

The problem with installing pirated software is that you have to give your password to run it, and that then goes to anything that has been written into the software. So the fact is you've no idea what has been added there - including key loggers or other surveillance apps. The safe route is do as I say.

Back up your data. Wipe the HD and reinstall the OS and your apps. The restore your data.
oh um is there no way of like determining or scanning first? maybe there is no malware because that would be a long process and right now I badly need my laptop it is our exams week
