iPhone alarm doesn't go off

I set my alarms two at a time. The first one on snooze, the second with no snooze 30 minutes later. Normally my alarm goes off with no problem, but occasionally the alarm does not make any sound at all. Today I had one set for 12:50pm and one set for 1:20pm both with different sounds and the same snooze settings as above. The alarm did not make a single sound, and almost cost me my job had I not luckily woken up at the right time. I instead awoke to no sound coming from my iPhone, but a screen showing me to press the snooze button from my first alarm with no sound coming out. I checked my ringer and it was on, and my ringer volume was at the very maximum. I'm insanely annoyed because this has been happening more often since I got my iPhone 11. I'm on ios 13.6, and never had these problems on my iPhone 7+. Can anyone tell me if this is just a bug Apple hasn't cared to fix for the what.. Past 2 years? Or if I'm just insanely stupid. Any help is appreciated, honestly considering just buying an alarm clock and not relying on this crappy 800$ box, apple calls an iPhone 11.
