Hi,
Assuming that it is an MFC-J880DW, the printer is AirPrint-enabled.
About AirPrint - Apple Support
As already mentioned by iW00, have you confirmed that the printer and the iPhone are on the same network? AirPrint should be enabled by default on the printer, but it could perhaps be a good idea to check that this has not changed.
Also, please check that the printer has the latest firmware. Update if necessary.

I guess that it is a traditional (infrastructure mode) network with a router. That is, not a direct Wi-Fi solution.
If the above is OK, you should be able to select an AirPrint printer and print from the iPhone.

Your Mac might be using IP Printing to see the printer, not the AirPrint.
Check if AirPrint is enabled on your printer.
Make sure your printer is on the same network as your iPhone. Power cycle your router, your printer and your iPhone and try again.
