macOS Catalina — Photos — 'Downloading ... Originals' Stuck

Photos ''downloading originals' seem to be stuck.

I have tried to rebuild a new library as well, and it hasn't helped.

So far, I have not found any helpful answers anywhere.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 10.15

Photos Library Rebuild Failed I attempt to Rebuild the library in the Photos app on Catalina 10.15.3, MacBook Air 13-inch, 2019. It failed. It hung at 99% for about 12 hours. Upon right-clicking it said 'Application Not Responding'. I regrettably forced it to close. Now when I open Photos it: shows 'The Library could not be opened' (3145) if I choose 'Open Other' and choose the system library it gives the error message 'client requested library rebuild' The library file is there and about the same size as before, 270GB. It's large. When I show the contents the photos are there. How can I get this fixed?

can't open photos since update my Mac OS to Catalina. I can't open my photos library since I update my Mac OS to Catalina. it says need to be update, but can't , so it goes to repair.then after repair, it shows :"the library could not be opened. photos was unable to open the library.(1000) is there anyone know how to fix it?

Photos Never Completes Update after Catalina I am unable to use Photos after upgrading to Catalina. iMac with standard install location I've performed a repair several times I've restarted several times It never gets passed 4% complete, lately getting stuck (we are talking DAYS) on 1% This is lame.

I hope soon we get a Catalina update that fixes this issue.
