My AirPods are connected to my phone however when I’m at home and when some else is watching a video or calling someone on their phone my AirPods disconnect from my phone and automatically connect to their phone. If I disconnect the AirPods from their phone in the Bluetooth settings they disconnect from my phone as well in the blue tooth settings. It is very annoying can someone please help me out? Would appreciate it

This is happening to my household as well. My children need to be signed on to our account. It only started happening since the last update to our phones. It's quite annoying and honestly I haven't been able to use my Airpods since and I can't turn on my bluetooth because it keeps connecting to their Airpods. BTW, they are not Airpod pros. Any advice would be great!
Is that "someone's" iPhone and your iPhone logged into the same Apple ID as yours?
