App store billing discrepancy? Surcharges?!?

So I have not been checking my credit card billed amount since I never had issues with apple and trust the company and their attention to details.

However, today I was looking at how much I spent and got a (somewhat) nasty surprise.

I purchased from an app store that is the same country as my settings and the same currency as my credit card - Singapore. I had previously lived in Sydney and my apple Id started off being an Australia app store id , which have been changed since 3 years ago.

The invoice apple.com sends me is different from the amount I get deducted in my bank statement

Anyone have this issue before?

I would think it could be the bank / debit card at fault but i never had any issue with any type of payment, only that from apple app store, so am really confused

An item that is stated to be "SGD $44.98" appears in my bank bill as "SGD $46.24"

Any sharing or enlightening would be appreciated, Thanks

Greetings 7ambda,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It seems like you see two different amounts you were charged. Make sure the charges are for the correct purchase, but you may need to contact Apple Support directly.

See your purchase history for the App Store, iTunes Store, and more

If you see "apple.com/bill" or an unfamiliar charge on your statement

Please don't hesitate to let us know if the steps resolved your issue or if you need additional assistance.

Take care.
