Where is the option to set my iPhone to automatically and wirelessly back up to my Mac using Catalina? I am not seeing it in the normal backup options. I don't run wifi on my Mac but have wifi that connects to the Mac on ethernet. (everything on same network). When I plug the phone in I can manually back up which is convenient for manual backup but what about the auto wireless? Please educate me.

As I recall you must first connect it to your Mac with a USB cable, upon which the indicated option should appear:
Check that box and "Automatically sync" as shown. Then, the iPhone will sync wirelessly and the USB cable is no longer required.
Thank you for the info. My Mac was set this way but the last update (shown a few lines above) was days ago which was indicated to me the phone was not backing up. I think I stumbled onto the problem. My phone needed the 14.0.1 software update. Now it seems to be working. The phone was also not showing up in photos for importing either so solved two problems with the 14.0.1 software. Again thanks for the reply.
