Can any App on my iPhone be added to CarPlay? Or only certain apps Apple determined?
Thanks for your quick reply. So that means that I cannot install a movie app or game app onto CarPlay. Is this correct? I am not planning to do these while I am driving, but it will be nice if I can do in parking lot.
Only Apps that have that capability. Usually Music subscriptions, GPS Direction apps etc. Apps that are capable are automatically installed into CarPlay and will appear on your car's screen.

You are correct. You will not be able to install movies or a game app on CarPlay.

That is really disappointing! CarPlay can just shut off these apps while driving!
