Missing Templates in Microsoft Word 16.41

When using Microsoft Word 16.4 I recently noticed that my templates which I created are visually seen, but when selected for use, the logo disappears and a black page appears. I have tried this in the safe mode and the same result occurs. I have gone to Library>create duplicate and still I see the copy of the template, but no logo appears when I select the template. Anyone know any fixes? Thanks so much!

Thanks Bob! I was on a very lengthy chat with MS tech - no help! Was told due to the fact that it was a 3rd party (me) who created the custom template they could not support any assistance. I reached out to the MS community as well to no avail :(
