When I hover over an email, the email in question dances around, back and forth. It's very distracting, and I don't know what to do about it. Help?

When I hover over an email with my Magic Mouse, the email in question dances around, back and forth. I have to move away from the email to stop the movement. It's very distracting, and I'd love to figure out how to correct this issue. I'm trying to be a faithful Apple product user, but, honestly, my Logitech mouse has turned out to be much better than the Magic Mouse, especially in situations like this one. I also have a similar issue when using Quickbooks with my Magic Mouse. It won't stay still long enough for me to select a column or item. Should I decrease its' sensitivity, or what?

Help me out, please!

Sounds like you are scrolling the mouse. I don’t have one, but I imagine it works Louise the trackpad where a two-finger swipe scrolls.

Perhaps the Logitech software is causing some problem with the Magic Mouse. I don't know why a mouse needs a kernel extension, but Logitech makes you install one for your mouse. It often causes all sorts of problems until they patch it. Update/Upgrade the OS and the patching cycle starts again.

Where is the message dancing around? Do you mean in the message list or in the message viewer pane?

It's actually in the message list. I've upgraded to Catalina and not installed the Logitech mouse, so should this issue not be resolved? Even now, when I move the mouse around, it causes the screen to move up and down.
