Watch distance units
Hi, after my latest watchOS update all my workout distances are in km. I would like to use miles. How do I change this? I have tried everything and spent many hours searching for the solution.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply but I’ve done that. All the workouts show as miles on my phone but my watch is still showing km. it’s quite frustrating. When my watch was new I could hold down (hard press) and change between km and miles put it won’t let me do that after this update. Thanks again.
Did you try this;
In the workout app on the watch
Tap the three-dot icon for one of the widgets such as Outdoor Walk or Outdoor Run.
Tap Distance.
Use Force Touch to open the menu.
Make your selection from miles or kilometers.
Watch 6 doesn't have force touch so I'm not sure how you would enter the menu on a watch 6.
Hi, thanks again, I’ve even tried that - this one is a watch 5 but the force touch doesn’t work since the last OS. But I have fixed it with your first suggestion. I’ve done a reset on the watch, changed the units to km then another reset and changed the units back to miles. Working great now. Thanks so much. Pete
On your iPhone, in the Health app, go to summary then tap on walking and running distance,scroll down to the bottom and tap on unit then choose mi or km.
