Hi all,
I have a pair of bluetooth earphones that are too loud even on the lowest setting when connected to my iPhone. I have tried adjusting all settings, including the eq but the difference is minimal.
I have tested the earphones on android devices and I don't have the same issue. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand the volume is too loud on your headphones even when you have volume turned down. Do you have another set of headphones to try and if so, does the same issue occur on multiple pair? Does this happen with any particular audio such as calls or music?
If it happens in all audio, try limiting the headphone volume using the steps here Adjust the volume on iPhone

Thanks for getting back to us so promptly. Testing out your Apple headphones helps to isolate this a lot. Are you referring to the wired EarPods that you received with an iOS device or AirPods? Ideally, testing another set of Bluetooth headphones with your iPhone will help isolate if the issue occurs with these headphones or your Bluetooth connection.

If the same thing happens, let us know which iOS version is installed on your iPhone. You'll find that from Settings > General > About.

Hi, thanks for replying. I’m tried all of that and it doesn’t work unfortunately. With Apple earphones I don’t have this issue.
With my Bluetooth earphones the first volume level is silent and then the second is too loud for my liking. There is no in-between. I have tried the same Bluetooth earphones on android and a PC and I don’t have the same issue.
