Hey there Jackmaggie,

It appears that you are having some issues with accessing your Control Center on your Apple Watch. We would love to assist you with resolving this issue.

First, try force restarting the Apple Watch as this can assist with certain glitching behaviors: Force restart your Apple Watch

Also, ensure that the watchOS software on the Apple Watch is up-to-date: Update your Apple Watch

Best wishes.

Did you enable display zoom on your iPhone or Apple Watch?

I had display zoom active for ages on my iPhone. This was synched to the Apple Watch but I did not notice at all.

Beginning with watchOS 7, I regularly had to reboot my watch until I found out that turning off the display zoom in the Watch app seems to fix the swipes for notifications and control center.

Dear Apple support:

This problem is so frequently asked that I find it inappropriate to just suggest force restarts, updates or re-pairing the watch. You should have noticed by yourself that this does not solve the problem permanently.
