Cannot pair Powerbeats Pro to Apple TV, does not show up in “other devices”

How can I make my Apple TV see my Powerbeats Pro? I followed all the instructions but they simply never show up as a device in the Bluetooth menu. They work just fine with my iPhone and IPad. Everything has the latest software. The headphones are right next to the Apple TV but it cannot see them.

Use Beats earphones with TV I bought these mainly to listen to my LG TV, but the TV does not "see" them. It does "see" other bluetooth headphones. Is this a problem with the TV, or with the headphones, or are they not capable of working with non-Apple devices?

Verify that it is in pairing mode, in order to be discoverable.
