Logitech Slim Combo Folio keyboard not working

Having issues pest with my Logitech Slim Combo Folio Keyboard no longer working on my iPad Pro. It will occasionally light up if you click certain keys but otherwise at this point it’s a paperweight. It was working perfectly up until the latest iOS update (iOS 14). After that update no longer works. Anyone else out there having the same issue or know of a fix?

Hi, I am having the exact same problem since the update. As previous people mentioned, there is no Bluetooth connection nor is there a possibility of doing any firmware update. There seems to be a compatibility issue with the latest iOS and the keyboard. I actually have two of these keyboards and got my old one out and it is the exact same issue on both. Can Apple please contact Logitech and deal with this issue asap? Thanks

Hi CookM7,

We want to help get the Logitech Slim Combo Folio Keyboard back to working order with your iPad Pro. Since you noticed this after the latest update, have you checked for firmware updates from the manufacturer?

We'll want to check all the steps on the page here: If you can't connect a Bluetooth accessory to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Let us know what you are able to try, and find out. We'll use the details you share to determine our next steps together.

Cheers.

Hey CookM7,

We want to see more details of what you are noticing. Did you contact the manufacturer to check for firmware updates or compatibility with the latest updates?

If you are within their warranty period, you may have hardware options as well.

Last let's make sure your connection is clean using the steps here: How to clean your Apple products

Hope this helps further.

Hey CookM7,

We've looked over that page and didn't see any specifications for iOS version support or firmware updates. If you've cleaned the iPad connections and still notice this you can try connecting to another iPad for testing or using another device to test your iPads Smart connectors.

We'd suggest to reach out to the manufacture for more concerns about the hardware components of your Logitech Combo Folio Keyboard.

Cheers.

Thanks for answering. I just find it weird that I had no issues over many updates. Something in iOS 14 messed it up. Like most people here, our keyboards are out of warranty so returning them is not an option. When one buys a product for use on a compatible product, it is a reasonable expectation that it should work with it. Logitech is a huge company and one would assume that they are in constant contact with Apple when updates to the iOS are made. Hopefully they are both aware of the issue now and someone somewhere will rectify it.
