Keystroke Delay in Messages

iPhone 11 Pro Max

iOS 14.0.1

When typing in messages, my keystrokes aren’t being registered immediately — that is to say, I don’t see my text appear in the text box for a few seconds after having already input in the messages on the keyboard. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this but it does make the experience a bit lacking and takes away from the buttery smooth experience of the iPhone.

Try and Force Restart your iPhone exactly as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

Press and quickly release Volume UP button
Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
