Touch screen on my phone XS is acting all crazy.

Today out of all days the touch screen on my iphone XS is acting crazy. I performed multiple hard resets but it just didnt seem to work. After countless tries to unlock my phone I finally got in but it just opens up random apps goes into menus or types weird things into search bars and its like a ghost is typing and selecting things at random. Im worried it will delete something important or make some type of purchase or something else. Am I the only one this is happening to?
