I have organized my photos into albums on icloud and the photos app. But I want the photos that are put into maps not to be shown in my camera roll, is that possible? (So that they are only visible in the maps/albums that I made)

that is no longer possible in iOS 14. Previously we could hide photos, that have been added to albums and they would no longer be visible in the Photos view, only in the albums, but now hiding will hide them everywhere. You mean the folders, when you are asking about the maps?
