lighting adapter

I was wondering if there is an adapter that lets me plug in my earbuds (that are apple lighting) into my MacBook Pro?

I need an adapter: where can I find it? I just purchased the new MacBook Air, which has two USB-C ports. I need an adapter that would connect my apple earbuds (which have a lightning connector) to the USB-C port on my computer so I can use my earbuds. But I can't find such an adapter online here.
