I just purchased the new MacBook Air, which has two USB-C ports. I need an adapter that would connect my apple earbuds (which have a lightning connector) to the USB-C port on my computer so I can use my earbuds. But I can't find such an adapter online here.
I don't believe you will find anything like that.
It would be far more practical to just get a pair of earbuds with a 3.5mm plug and use the built in headphone jack...

There's no such adapter that I'm aware of. Best idea I've got is to purchase one of the older versions of the EarPods. They can be pretty cheap. Here's one I found on Amazon: https://amzn.to/2XVVd8j
