MacBook Air m2, 2022 has no port to support my wired earplugs that works with my iPad. what do I do to use this type

According to the Apple technical specifications website for the MacBook Air M2 (2022), the MacBook Air M2 (2022) has a built-in 3.5mm headphone jack on the opposite side of where the charger plugs in:

you would need something like this: USB Type C to 3.5mm Female Headphone Jack Adapter

I guess I should have checked the specs before saying the OP needed an adapter. Mactracker shows there is a 3.5mm audio jack on that MBA as well.
