It is still not fixed and very annoying.

I noticed after 14.3 that it still happens, but it corrects itself after about 5 seconds. I don't have to shut the screen off and on. So it's annoying but much better. Still disappointing

gets corrected on its own in 5 secs or so

Same issue with Iphone 7 and neither auto brightness nor true tone are found in the mentioned locations in settings. Extremely annoying and I am extremely angry.
