I can't see the Memoji button :(

I've updated my iPad Air 2 to iPadOS 14.0.1 and yet when i go into messages I can't see the Memoji button :(

We note that you're looking to utilize the Memoji stickers in Messages. We can understand the desire to use that, and we can help to clear things up for you.

In this case, the Memoji stickers feature isn't supported on iPad Air 2. We have a note on this in the "How to create Memoji stickers" section of this page:

Well, it´s a shame that a hardware upgrade is required only to make those memojis. I get it with animojis since they require face ID, but if my iPad is able to upgrade to iPadOS 14 it doesn't make much sense. I can even see the memoji option in the keyboard settings, but nothing happens when i check it.
