I was using my iPad perfectly fine earlier today, when all of a sudden it stopped being able to stream videos. I checked my router settings and realized that it was connecting to the 2.4 GHz band instead of the 5 GHz band. I have looked for a solution, but I have not found one yet. How can I make my iPad connect to the 5 GHz band of my WiFi?

Perhaps the 5GHz radio on your router is offline. Many WiFi Routers are designed to automatically disable their 5GHz radio if they detect adjacent radar signals.
A restart of the WiFi Router may reset its radio.
To restart you home router, disconnect power - then wait at least 30 seconds before restarting. When you router has rebooted (which may take several minutes), force-restart your iPad:
