12495kr in US $ is 1413$. The current change rate is 8.84kr for 1$

kb1951 is smart enough to know that is a bad idea as they will have to pay local taxes plus shipping will be costly. And if any service from Apple is needed they will need to either come to the US or ship it to the friend in the US and have them take it in an ship it back.

just so you know.... I have easily bought apple products for more than 20 000 $ these last years... but I have never really compared the US prices with Sweden.

The US cost listed does not include state and local taxes. Foreign markets have import fees that must be paid. Those sites may include other fees in the advertised prices.
