MacBook Pro Display Error

Hello. When I turned my notebook on this morning, the display was dislocated to the side until half the screen was black and the coloring was off (note the yellow Finder icon). Is there a quick way to fix this? I already tried resetting the PRAM and SMC.

Black screen 2015 macbook air error code VFD005 I am having the VFD005 error code saying the problem with the display. I then replaced the display and assembly, no luck the error code still exists and the screen is still black. The webcam works and sound works, I can hook the macbook up to an external display and it works fine. I wouldn't think this would be a faulty graphics card since it hooks to an external and displays fine. What other possibilities are there with this problem? This is a 2015 early macbook air 13 inch A1466 (EMC 2925).

Macbook Pro screen not working My macbook screen first had colorful lines through the side. A couple days later the screen would not turn on at all. there is now one line through the black screen. There is a problem with the display because it is still charging and makes the power on sound after i tried restarting it. Is there any way to fix this?

See if Safe Mode works.

Most likely you have a hardware failure (most likely with the built-in Display) that will need to be repaired.
