Why I can't access the AppleTV on my home TV set?

The Apple TV (all generations) must show on your TV as long as you are connecting with an HDMI cable.

Make sure the HDMI cable is working.

IF yo are sur the HDMI cable is OK and still cannot see anything on your screen (television), then there are 2 possibilities:

1- The HDMI output plug of your Apple TV is defaulted.

2- Your television is set to receive a totally different resolution/screen setup then what your Apple TV is sending.


Possibility 2 has a remedy, depends on the model of Apple TV that you have.
