app transfer with iTunes 12.x

I upgraded to 12.6.2 so I could sync an iDevice with iOS12

I saw no option to include apps when doing a backup - did I miss something or has this feature been removed

(I was able to include apps with iTunes 12.3)

Download Itunes 12.6.3 Is there anywhere to get Itunes 12.6.3? Or an itunes version that can store downloaded apps on it? I have apps on an iphone that are not on the app store anymore that I want to transfer to a new iphone. Looking for an itunes that can store apps on it to assist with that.
