Apple pencil

Hi. My apple pencil keeps skipping when I draw and sometimes doesn't draw a straight line when I draw and hold. There is definitely something wrong! Also I bought the pencil straight from the Apple site, is it covered for repair or replacement somehow?

When I'm drawing or writing most lines start with a noticeable dot and this happens in all drawing apps. My iPad refuses to draw on a specific area. This happened weeks ago, and for some reason, my iPad is refusing to draw on a specific horizontal line. I noticed this problem when I’m simply trying to draw on procreate with my apple pencil. The same thing occurs when I draw with my finger. I thought procreate was the issue, but as I tried to draw on other drawing platforms the same issue happened. I’ve hard reset my iPad, and refreshed the app. The same problem still occurs. I’m using the iPad 6 with the 1st generation apple pencil. I haven’t had any recent damage of both devices.Is there a way I can fix this?

Assuming you have already tried (to no avail) the steps provided herel:--> Connect Apple Pencil with your iPad - Apple Support

make an appointment at the Apple Store where you bought it and demonstrate your problem.
