Is it okay if I charge my iPhone 11 pro max with my MacBook charger?

I’m currently using an iPhone 11 pro max thinking about upgrading to a iPhone 12 pro max. To upgrade I should sell my current iPhone then I’m going to need a new charger since they are not shipping a charger with iPhone 12.

can I use my MacBook charger instead is it good for the battery of iPhone 12?
