Buying iphone

Hi, i am planing to get iphone 12 this month, but don't know whats the best way to purchase it. I live in Georgia. Its in the middle of Europe and Asia. Here we don't have official stores, but there are official importers, it costs radically more that way. I can also order it from apple but there is a Customs clearance fee. With that, i pay practically 1000$ For iphone 12 (800$). Also can i exchange iphone 6 while ordering in another country?
