Mac Mini 2020 Bluetooth Disconnection and slow spotty WiFi

I just bought a new Mac mini and in the middle of using it I will keep getting messages that the trackpad and the keyboard keep disconnecting. Also during Zoom lessons I have had error messages saying the internet connection is unsustainable. I then check and internet speed test with my phone and then the Mac mini and their is a considerable difference between the two and they are located right next to each other. A difference of 40% less on the Mac Mini. I have an appointment at the Mac store but any help would be appreciated. I am hearing that it could have something to do with all the things I have plugged into the usb slots and a usb hub? Not really sure why a usb and usb hub would have anything to do with WiFi and Bluetooth?

You heard pretty good. It is know that USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt 3/USB-C cables, hub(s) and drives can cause Wi-Fi and Bluetooth problems. see > https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201542

While it is convenient to have those devices close and within easy reach, they can cause problems for your Keyboard, Mouse, as well as headsets, speakers and other devices.

What I suggest, is that you try moving all of your USB 3.0, TB3/USB-C cables, hub(s) and drives to one side, away from your keyboard and mouse. You may also want to consider replacing any thin poorly shielded cables that plug directly into the back of the Mac Mini with heaver better shielded cables.
