Parental Controls iPhone SE - Kid hacked, how and how to stop

My kid has a newer iphone SE. I had parental controls turned on that supposedly kept her from changing her screen lock and apple id. I checked her phone a few months ago and found she had been doing bad things. She managed to change it since and now I'm locked out of her phone. How did she do this and what can I do to keep it from happening again?

CrystalBlue311,

We appreciate you following up with the community with that information. Can you change the Screen Time passcode on your device if you're using Family Sharing using the following resource?

If you forgot your Screen Time passcode

You'll want to follow the steps under "How to reset the Screen Time passcode for your child's device"

Have a good day!

Hi CrystalBlue311,

It looks like you have set up some parental controls on your child's iPhone, and that they have recently been able to change those settings you have previously set. We know how crucial it is to have the ability to manage their content and settings to prevent any content they shouldn't be accessing.

Did your daughter have access to the password for Screen Time? You can view information about the feature and how to manage the setting.

Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

We hope this helps.
