The notes app on my iPad does not have "Recently Deleted" option, Can you tell me why?

Notes does have recently deleted, but it only shows when something is in it, I just tried it on my iPad, I wrote a note, deleted it and then the recently deleted folder appeared

I been trying that, but my does not. That is why I am asking the question.

I have the latest IOS, 14.0.1

As far as I am aware they haven’t changed it in iOS 14
