Hacked?

Since updating to iOS 14 I randomly get the orange or green light even when my phone is locked. When I swipe down to control centre to see which apps are using these features it’s either messages or the camera app. Is this just a malfunction or have I been hacked? What should I do. There’s no other unusual activity on my phone I think
