Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities. From our understanding, your Quicktime application will not launch on your Mac, do we have that right? Has your device been restarted since noticing this?


Log out, sleep, restart, or shut down your Mac


If the app isn't responding you can check out How to force an app to quit on your Mac.


You'll also want to make sure your Mac is up to date. Check out How to update the software on your Mac.
