Can't find my iCloud on my MacBookPro any more.

Months ago I managed to set up things so that when I save a document it automatically goes into my iCloud. But I simply can't find the symbol anywhere anymore. Apple-logo - system preferences doesn't bring it up, neither does the launch pad. Any ideas please?

You have turned on iCloud drive and desktops and documents box in Mac OS catalina 10.15.7 https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/mac-help/mchle5a61431/10.14/mac/10.14

You go to finder > in iCloud section > in iCloud Drive > Documents you create personal documents they are mirrored in iCloud.com or you create directly documents from iCloud.com they are synced in finder > documents ( acts as vice - versa ) .

If you are talking about iCloud icon , open system preferences > click on Apple ID icon > in the side bar of the window you can see iCloud icon and launch pad can be opened with different ways open spotlight , and type launch pad in it , click on enter , other ways , open finder > in applications > right click on launch pad and click on open or double click launch pad application , some users use trackpad to open launch pad https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/mac-help/mh35840/mac

If you compare Mac OS catalina with previous versions in system preferences > the iCloud icon was available ( I don't exactly remember the previous version settings ) , but in recent version the location of iCloud is changed as described above .
