If I was to get the new iPad Pro 4 12.9inch which Apple Pencil would be compatible? The first or second gen

The new iPad Air 4 - and the current models of iPad Pro that have a USB-C connector - require a second generation Apple Pencil.
Other models of iPad, that feature a Lightning connector, use the original first generation Apple Pencil.
Apple Pencils are not interchangeable. Here is the full compatibility list for Apple Pencil and iPad:
Apple Pencil (2nd generation)
You can use Apple Pencil (2nd generation) with these iPad models:
- iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation) and later
